Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani delivered one of the biggest hits of the year in Baaghi 2. Riding high on the film's success, the couple has apparently hiked their endorsement fee. It has been heard that when a cooking oil brand approached the duo for a joint endorsement deal, the lovebirds quoted a cool Rs 5 crore for their remuneration.

A source reveals, "The marketing team of a renowned oil brand wanted to position their product as the choice of fitness enthusiasts. Disha and Tiger seemed to be a perfect fit as brand ambassadors since the two are known to be health freaks. Considering they haven't featured in a commercial together, the team felt the ad would have the novelty factor. When the team approached them, the duo asked for Rs 5 crore as fee. Given their popularity among the youth, the brand officials agreed to cough up the amount. Though Tiger and Disha are yet to sign on the dotted line, the conversation is at an advanced stage."
Shroff and Patani are the latest to jump on the bandwagon of celebrity couples endorsing products together. Of the current crop, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli lent their face to a clothing brand last year. Among the superstars, Shah Rukh Khan has appeared in a commercial for a furnishing brand with wife Gauri. The deal was said to be sealed at Rs 18 crore then. Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had reportedly raked in R30 crore for a kitchenware brand ad.
