Raveena Tandon is the latest star to join mid-day.com’s special series ‘Flashback with the stars.’ The actress opens up about her journey in films, motherhood, her upcoming projects and more.

Raveena says, “I’ve always been honest and say what I’m going through. It’s also got to do with my upbringing which is very normal. Even when I entered this line, I was too real for the 90s’ media to accept. They would always wonder, how is she this way? And that it can’t be real! I’ve always been normal as a person, you could sit and have a conversation with me! I don’t understand what the hullabaloo is about. Main jaisi thi, waise hi rahoongi. It’s a little too late in the day to change, addhi zindagi nikal gayi hai.”

She adds that celebrities should speak out about issues that people can relate to, “It’s very necessary when you are a celebrity or you have a certain moral responsibility to be able to talk about issues that people are dealing with in daily life. If it’s a positive change they might be inspired!”
