Kartik Aaryan, one of Indian cinema's most popular actors, left an everlasting impression with his performance in last year's superhit romantic drama 'Satya Prem Ki Katha.' The young actor is now gearing up for the release of his next big-screen spectacle, 'Chandu Champion,' with director Kabir Khan.

Ever since the film was announced, anticipation among the masses has been at its peak to witness the collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan. In a recent surprise, the actor shared a clip from the set as he wrapped his part of the film. Kartik Aaryan posted a video of himself enjoying Rasmalai, tasting sweets after a year as he concluded the film's shooting.

While sharing the video Kartik wrote a long note and said, “This RasMalai Tasted Like Victory ! Finally eating sugar after a year !! After more than a year of intense preparation and 8 months of day-n-night shoots across the globe, today we complete the shooting journey of #ChanduChampion. And it couldn’t have been sweeter than my fav, Rasmalai - from the Man himself who carved this challenging path for me… you have been a profound inspiration Sir! @kabirkhankk #SajidNadiadwala @wardakhannadiadwala #ItsAWrap #FeelingSad #FeelingGuilty #ChanduChampion #14thJune2024”

Helmed by Kabir Khan, 'Chandu Champion'  is based on the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar, who won the 50 metres freestyle swimming competition at the 1972 Summer Paralympics in Heidelberg, Germany. During the 1965 India-Pakistan war, Petkar, a soldier of the craftsman rank in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) in the Indian Army, suffered debilitating injuries that rendered him paraplegic. He took to swimming as recommended by the doctor, and eventually represented India internationally.

For the film, Kartik has also shot for an 8-minute-long war scene. Speaking about the scene, the actor said, "This 8 minutes long single-shot war scene turned out to be the most challenging, spectacular and yes, difficult but also the most memorable shot of my acting career. Thank you @kabirkhankk sir for giving me a memory to cherish for a lifetime."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in the third installment of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', 'Aashiqui 3', and will begin shooting for Karan Johar's Dharma Productions epic war saga directed by Sandeep Modi.
