David Beckham, a football legend and former professional footballer, made a splash in India after his recent appearance at the World Cup 2023 match between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja hosted a house party for the ace footballer. The Who's Who of Bollywood made an appearance at the party. Many stars showered down at the party, including Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, who shared a picture with the footballer on his handle. While most were fascinated, trolls could not help but comment on the picture.
Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor took to social media to post a picture with the ace footballer. He captioned the picture, "Met David Beckham last night. I spoke to him about United, of course, and the state of the club. I can’t reveal more." After that post, a troll materialised and asked, "Usne ye nahi poochha ki tu hai kaun (He didn't ask, who are you)?" to which Harsh stated, "Bhai Woh mere ghar pe aaya...Tu kaun hai (He came to my house. Who are you?)"

A follower of Harsh Varrdhan even asked him, "Bruh, what have you done to people, why are they always like this." The actor responded straightforwardly, stating, "Jealousy/insecurity."
"One of the greatest pleasures of life is seeing two trolls with differential reach having a go at each other. I mean it in a good way. We are all trolls. It mirrors societal conflicts in a less violent manner." Harsh Varrdhan said
"The only difference is I never instigate it... I do my own thing, but if someone is logging onto Twitter, going on my page to quote tweet me and simultaneously trying to low blow me (contradictory from them, by the way), I'll say what I want to them if I'm in the mood." Harsh Varrdhan concluded.
Post the match, David Beckham was hosted by Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja at their Mumbai home. Several celebrities attended the dinner party to meet the legendary footballer. On Thursday morning, every celebrity at the party shared their fan moment with Beckham. For Arjun Kapoor, it was childhood dream come true to meet the footballer.
