It's overwhelming, to say the least, to witness people from all walks of life, all faiths, all geographies stepping forward to help each other through this pandemic, says Sushmita Sen.

Sushmita Sen penned an emotional note for people who are battling the second wave of the pandemic on social media, and the actress wishes goodwill and strength to all the warriors out there. “My heart goes out to them... those who are fighting for a single breath, mourning the loss of loved ones, struggling to make a living, the daily wage workers and the COVID-19 warriors,” she posted. The actor added that “we each have our challenges, some tougher than the others,” but at the end “the human spirit prevails every single time.”

On the work front, Sushmita made her comeback on-screen with the Ram Madhvani web series. The series was a hit and fans have been waiting for a second season. The show marked Sushmita's return to the screen five years after her last release, the 2015 Bengali film Nirbaak. In Bollywood, her last release was Anees Bazmee's 2010 multistarrer, No Problem.

The actress reprises the titular role of Arya Sareen in the gangster series, which also stars Ankur Bhatia.
Sushmita was last seen shooting in Jaipur for the second part of the series,. Last year, the first season of the show marked her return to showbiz after five years, since she appeared on the screen.
