With the excitement around Great Gerwig's upcoming film 'Barbie' on the rise, many are taking to looks inspired by the popular character. Margot Robbie will be playing the role of Barbie in the upcoming film with Ryan Gosling as Ken. Several people have hopped on to the Barbie trend and have been curating looks inspired by the same. Actor Sobhita Dhulipala is the latest to join the Barbie trend.
On Tuesday, Sobhita Dhulipala took to her Instagram handle to drop pictures of herself dressed in a bright pink dress, a colour one associates with Barbie. She wore a plain pink coloured dress which pinches at the waist. She curled her hair and left it open. The actress opted for glossy makeup and used a silver bracelet to accessorise her look.

"This Barbie is ‘Made in heaven," she wrote along with the post using the opportunity to use the title of her upcoming web series. She wrote the hashtag 'Sorry' and 'I tried' along with the caption.

Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' will be released worldwide on July 21. The premiere of the film being held in different countries has been getting positive reviews. Starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, the film will show how the popular dolls will be entering earth and living among humans. The film will clash with Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' at the box office. However, instead of looking at it like a competition, fans and makers are looking at it like a celebration of cinema. Two completely different films will be released together, giving cinema lovers a chance to enjoy their weekend at the movies.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sobhita Dhulipala has had a successful 2023 so far. She began the year with part 1 of the Disney+ Hotstar series 'The Night Manager' co-starring Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. She was cast opposite the senior actor in the thriller. The second part of the series was released in June. In between, Sobhita was also seen in the second part of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
Sobhita will next be seen in the much anticipated series 'Made In Heaven' created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The series showcases the lives of two wedding planners Karan and Tara as they navigate through various ups and downs, against the backdrop of big fat Indian weddings. The series became an instant fan favourite with the audience appreciating its compelling narrative and power-packed performances. The series boasts an exceptional ensemble cast that includes Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Jim Sarbh, and many others. 'Made In Heaven' Season 2 will premiere soon exclusively on Prime Video.
