Atul Khatri

Atul Khatri makes music video debut with Bajre da sitta
We can’t think of another track that could do justice to Atul Khatri’s  off-screen persona than the recreated version of Bajre da sitta. “I play the father of the protagonist, and am seen constantly trying to convince her to consider some ‘rishtas’. Every father goes through this phase. This edition has been lent an urban look. I hope people enjoy it,” says the comedian of the track, rendered by Rashmeet Kaur, Ikka, and Deep Kalsi.

Nakul recreates Rahman’s Dhakka laga bukka, with Rahman

Nakul Studio
Frozen 2 fame singer Nakul Abhyankar was appointed to render the recreated version of AR Rahman’s Dhakka laga bukka, for Saif Ali Khan-starrer, Tandav. “I was asked to render the fresh lyrics. The song has been among my all-time favourites because I admired the soundtrack of Yuva. This is my second duet with Rahman sir after the hockey World Cup anthem, Jai hind India.”

Social media gives wings to a young singer

Shivansh Jindal
Hindustani classical singer Shivansh Jindal got the chance to interact with Salim Merchant on Instagram, and share a glimpse of his track, Pata nahi. “He had added me to his chat, where I sang a raw version of the song. He liked it and asked me to fly down to Mumbai. He produced and released it. The song has been composed and sung by me,” says the youngster.
