It is said that Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have opened the doors of their sprawling Alibaug property for the Dhawans. As soon as they got to know that Varun would be tying the knot with Natasha Dalal at a resort in the vicinity, they told them that their family members and guests are welcome at their home, which has been designed by Gauri. In 2017, SRK had celebrated his birthday at the beachfront bungalow with the who’s who of B-Town making their way to Alibaug.

But it's business as usual for Varun Dhawan. The groom-to-be is taking utmost care to display no signs of his impending nuptials. He has been frequenting producer Dinesh Vijan’s office. He features in his upcoming project, Bhediya. On Thursday, the actor was spotted with what looked like a bound script in hand. He has also been hitting the gym and posting fitness tips on Instagram.
Dhawan shared that animal flow exercises helped him regain stamina after recovering from the COVID-19 virus last month. Meanwhile, mother Lali was spotted at a Juhu salon, and director brother Rohit and wife Jaanvi at designer Manish Malhotra's store. Is Dhawan getting married or is the family preparing for a Republic Day gala?
Coming to SRK, he was last seen on the big screen in 2018’s Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Although no official confirmation has been made about the same, his next film is tentatively called Pathan that also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
A stylised chase sequence with Shah Rukh and John will be shot in Abu Dhabi. The team started their recce from the UAE capital, where they visited Liwa Oasis and Ferrari World, the first Ferrari-themed park in the world. In Dubai, they will visit the Business Bay, which is the modern financial district. They are also planning an elaborate sequence at the architectural landmark, Meydan Bridge. The site served as a backdrop in Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol [2011],” reveals a trade source.
If all goes as planned, the unit will kick off its Middle East schedule in mid-February. Once the locations are finalised, the team will make arrangements to shoot in a bio-bubble. The source adds, “This will be John’s first schedule of Pathan; he plays the antagonist.”
