Shabana Azmi fell prey to an online scam, recently. On Thursday, the veteran actress shared on Twitter revealing that she has been cheated by Living Liquidz after she placed an order on the platform. Further revealing the payment details, she stated that she made the payment and after that, they didn’t answer her phone calls.

Azmi tweeted- “BEWARE I have been cheated by them. #Living Liquidz I paid upfront and when the ordered item didnt turn up they stopped picking up my calls!

And this is how the users reacted in the comments section. One user wrote- “Madam on Google the numbers displayed are fake. For 99% of liquor stores. Living liquids didn't con you but usual cons pulled a fast one to Rob you. Plz file a police complaint & raise awareness on this issue wherein thousands of people have got robbed of their hard earned money.” [SIC]
Another one commented- “There should be a way to stop such cons. This con is heard from months now, and till date lakhs of rupees must have lost. Why there is no way to get hold of fraudsters. Any govt department would like to find the root of conners.” [SIC]
One user wrote that if one personally goes to their outlet, there would be no issues. “Unless U personally go to their outlet & get the right no.your issue won't be settled.They r near ur house,either go or send ur person or they will keep on saying, " crona times main kuch nahi ho sakta" Same excuse everywhere..
Small or big amount don't spare them ,please..” [SIC], he said.
One person revealed that they never accepted online payment and wrote- “I’ve ordered from there livingliquidz.com website multiple times. At least for my area, they've never accepted payment online, even if you select digital options. they send a CC machine with the delivery guy. Consider including the phone no. you used in your complaint.”
Somebody suggested the actress remove her Paytm details as that could increase the chances of her phone getting hacked. Have a look at his tweet:
