Amidst all the dating rumours with her 'alleged ex' and Love Aaj Kal' co-star, Kartik Aaryan that are floating all over social media, Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan delighted her fans with yet another cute post featuring herself and her actor-mother, Amrita Singh.

On Thursday, on the occasion of Amrita Singh's 65th birthday, Sara took to Instagram and dropped two adorable photos and penned a sweet yet quirky note dedicating to her 'safe place' and 'whole world'.
In the photos, the mother-daughter duo can be seen sitting near the mesmerizing lake of Udaipur, Lake Pichola.
In the first photo, Sara and Amrita can be seen sitting next to each other, holding hands. In the second photo, one can see Sara with her head on top of her mother's, hugging Amrita as she looks right into the camera.

"Happiest birthday to my whole world. Thank you for always being my rock (sometimes by cushion), my moral compass, my mirror (pun intended) and my aspiration," penned Sara alongside the birthday post.
While Sara Ali Khan channelled her inner Desi girl in a chic white and pink ethnic dress, Mommy, Amrita looked beautiful in her black and white outfit.
Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan who have shared screen space in Imtiaz Ali's 'Love Aaj Kal' in 2020. For the unversed, rumours of Sara and Kartik dating each other were rife a few years ago.

Reportedly, Sara and Kartik broke up shortly after the release of Imtiaz Ali's 2021 romantic drama.
Recently, there were reports that Sara is dating India's star batter, Shubman Gill. The actor-cricketer duo were spotted outside an eatery last year.
On the work front, the 'Kedarnath' star who was last seen in Aanand L Rai's 'Atrangi Re' alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush, will soon be seen in 'Ae Mere Watan'.
Besides 'Ae Mere Watan', Sara also has 'Gaslight' and 'Metro In Dino' in her kitty.
