Sallu had been shooting for Mahesh Manjrekar’s directorial venture when the surge in virus cases brought film shoots to a halt. The superstar is keen to wrap up the shoot of Antim before he begins work on the third outing of the Tiger franchise.
In our exclusive report, on May 26, it was revealed that Manjrekar is supervising the editing and post-production from home. “Salman is emotionally invested in 'Antim' as it’s an important film for brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, who plays the gangster to the superstar’s Sikh cop. While a teaser and Aayush’s look were unveiled in February, the makers were about to launch the first poster in March-end, announcing its October release. However, with the second wave of the pandemic taking over the country, they thought it best to wait it out,” revealed a source from the creative team.
Salman Khan's upcoming roster also includes 'Kick 2', and 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'.
