Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan embraced parenthood on December 20, 2016, when Kareena gave birth to Taimur Ali Khan, who went on to become a media sensation after he began making public appearances with his parents. Now, the couple is set to welcome their second baby soon. The couple confirmed the reports of Kareena's pregnancy and released a statement on the same.

Now, Saif, who is looking forward to his second child talked about the feeling in a recent interview. He stated that it's a wonderful feeling and he is excited to welcome a tiny tot into their family. Speaking to GQ India, the actor said, "I am very happy to welcome another tiny tot home before we get old". The actor also said that he shares a unique relationship with his older children - actress Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan as they are more mature and at different stages in their lives.

Talking about these upcoming films, he said, “I feel like I’d fallen off something and was in a bit of a hole, and I have really climbed my way out of it. I’ve worked very hard, and I am hoping that these things give me the result that pushes me higher."

The Agent Vinod actor also opened on his last outing, Tandav. The web series sees Saif playing the role of a politician. "Tandav had been ready for a while, and I would have been happier if it released a few months ago too. But just to be able to have a piece of work being released to the public during a crisis, when entertainment has become an important medium to maintaining one’s mental equilibrium and happiness, it feels great to know that we have done something on a platform that is viewable."

A few days back, Kareena Kapoor in an interview had revealed Saif's first reaction when he heard Kareena's pregnancy for the first time. "Unfortunately in my house there is nothing filmy as such. Because Saif is very normal and relaxed. Of course, he is always happy to hear it. So like I said, it wasn’t planned but it was something we really wanted to celebrate and we are really enjoying it together," she said.

Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor had also reacted to his daughter's pregnancy. The veteran actor said, "I am absolutely delighted, I have been telling Kareena for so long that Taimur needs a brother or sister to play with. We are all very happy and we pray, it’s a healthy, happy child. One should have two children to give each other company."

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan tied the knot on October 16, 2012. Ever since the Refugee actress has made her debut on Instagram, she keeps sharing lovely moments with her hubby and toddler, both. The couple has acted together in films like LOC Kargil, Tashan, Kurbaan, and Agent Vinod.

On the work front, Kareena will be next seen opposite Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha and Karan Johar's Takht. On the other hand, Saif will be seen in Bhoot Police and Bunty aur Babli 2.
