In a bid to address fears and anxiety around getting vaccinated, Riteish Deshmukh has decided to make videos in Marathi to spread awareness about the importance and benefits of taking the jab. “The need of the hour is that we all need to get vaccinated. Period.” Earlier, the actor reiterated the need to wear a mask in the right way to stay safe.

Earlier, Riteish had urged his fans to wear a mask and to do so in the right manner. Riteish shared a short clip on his Instagram in which he could be seen addressing the camera and requesting his fans to wear masks, he said, "Mask peheno, aur sahi tarah se pehno. [sic]" Then the song 'Kar Har Maidan Fateh' from the movie 'Sanju' played in the background, and the clip ended while displaying the message "Let's keep ourselves and our loved ones safe!" He captioned the post with the hashtags, "#maskupindia #maskup."
On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in the 2020 Bollywood film 'Baaghi 3'. The actor has three movies in the pipeline -- 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Housefull 5' and 'Chhatrapati Shivaji'.
