Richa Chadha on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being trolled for Paris Fashion Week 2023 look: People are jealous of her

In an interview, Richa Chadha defended Aishwarya Rai Bachchan against trolls after she was slammed by a section of netizens for her Paris Fashion Week 2023 look. Richa called Aishwarya the 'most beautiful woman in India's history'

Richa Chadha has never shied away from voicing her opinions and giving a befitting reply to naysayers. In a recent interview, the actress came out in support of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was trolled on the internet for her Paris Fashion Week 2023 look. The Fukrey actress slammed trolls for being jealous of the Guru star and called her the 'most beautiful woman'.

In a viral clip from an interview, Richa said, "Jalte hain log unse (People are jealous of her). Sabse khoobsurat mahila hai woh Hindustan ke history ki aajtak ki or mujhe lagta hai unmein bahut discipline hai aur woh kaafi graceful hai (She is the most beautiful woman in India’s history so far and I feel she is very disciplined and graceful). She doesn’t talk bad about anyone. I like her a lot. She belongs to a family with a South Indian mentality. She's the lady who eats curd-rice and papad at home. People may keep trolling her, how does it matter?"

Sharing her opinion on trolls and how she deals with them, the actress said, "Kyun tumhein deal karna hai bhai? Chintu Chandigarh mein baith ke kya soch raha hain tumhein kya farak padega? Chintu tumhare aage aa gaya tum ausey chaprasi bhi nahi rakhoge apne ghar mein. Kya farak padta hain tumhein Chintu kya sochta hain? Chintu apni bhadaas nikal raha hai, uske peeche usko pain feel ho raha hai, uske paas naukri nahi hai, uski mummy LPG se chulhe pe aa gayi hain. Chintu kya karega? ‘Inki dress acchi nahi hai.’ Okay (Let them keep trolling, who cares what a random person thinks? People are unhappy with their lives so this is what they do. Okay)."

Aishwarya represented India at the Paris Fashion Week 2023. She joined international stars such as Kendall Jenner, Dame Helen Mirren, Elle Fanning and Eva Longoria at the fashion show, which was held against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. The actress looked stunning in a black and golden dramatic Falguni and Shane Peacock gown.
