Rajkummar Rao Birthday 2023: Did you know the actor stole cable from his neighbour's house?

Rajkummar Rao is one of the finest actors in the Indian film industry at present. Be it with his comic timing or intense and hard-hitting performances, he has never failed to impress his audience. His journey to stardom wasn't smooth. But now, he's in his top form. Rajkummar celebrates his birthday tomorrow. The actor's last project was Raj & DK's web series, Guns & Gulaabs, which is streaming on Netflix.

During the promotional event of Guns & Gulaabs in Delhi in August, Rajkummar was asked whether he fixed punctures in life. For the uninitiated, he plays the role of a mechanic in the show who kills people with a spanner. His name is 'Panna' Tipu. Rajkummar said, "Haven't fixed punctures but we did have paanna (spanner) at our house. Each house has a self-made engineer who fixes everything around the house. I did that in our house. If there is a wire to be changed (I'd do it) or padosi ke ghar se cable churani hai (stealing cable from the neighbour's house) - we had that kind of cable those days. I did all of that very well."
Rajkummar Rao, born as Rajkumar Yadav, made his acting debut with Love Sex Aur Dhokha in 2010. He went on to do films like Ragini MMS, Shaitan, Kai Po Che, Queen and several others. The actor won the Best Actor award at the 61st National Film Awards for Hansal Mehta's Shahid. His film Newton was awarded the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi in 2017. It was also selected as the Indian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards.
The acclaimed actor made his OTT debut with Bose: Dead/Alive in 2017. It was a web show produced by Ekta Kapoor. His other web films include Ludo, Chhalaang, The White Tiger, Hum Do Hamare Do and Monica, O My Darling. Guns And Gulaabs is Rajkummar's second web series.
Rajkummar will be starring in films like Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana. He is headlining the biopic, Sri. Rajkummar reunites with Janhvi Kapoor on Mr & Mrs Mahi.
