Speaking about her professional journey, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress has an interesting line-up of films including SS Rajamouli's RRR, Karan Johar's Takht and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. For the unversed, Takht, which is said to be a period drama, also has Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, and Janhvi Kapoor.

On the other hand, RRR is SS Rajamouli's next magnum opus after the blockbuster Baahubali. The period drama also stars Ajay Devgn, Junior NTR, and Ram Charan. The release date of this film has changed twice. Earlier slated to release on July 30, 2020, it was then pushed to January 8, 2021. But given the lockdown that happened due to the coronavirus pandemic, a new release date is yet to be announced.
