Pankaj Tripathi has been enjoying a stellar run at the box office with his recent film release, 'OMG 2.' In the first part, released in 2012, Paresh Rawal's atheist character was seen taking up a case against God after his shop gets destroyed following an earthquake. In the sequel, a devotee played by Pankaj Tripathi fights a legal battle against his son's school. The film also stars Akshay Kumar.

Pankaj, who is known for picking only selective roles for him, kept low key for the first quarter of 2023, with no major announcement on the work front. However, after 'OMG 2,' the actor has six more releases closely packed in the second half of the year and the early half of next year - and fans are super excited for what's to come. 'Main Atal Hoon' is an upcoming Hindi biopic directed by Ravi Jadhav, penned by Utkarsh Naithani, and featuring Pankaj Tripathi as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film's poster was unveiled on Vajpayee's 98th birthday on December 25, 2022.
