Onam 2023: Malaika Arora enjoys Sadya with mom, sister Amrita Arora and friend Aditi Govitrikar

Malaika Arora kickstarted Onam celebrations at her parent's residence today with a hearty Sadya

Onam is around the corner and festivities have begun at Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora's maternal residence. Their mother, Joyce Arora is known to prepare the tastiest Onam Sadya which most celebrities love to relish. As the celebrations kickstarted, the Aroras hosted Aditi Govitrikar home for a hearty meal. Malaika's friends Vahbiz Mehta and Delnaz Daruwala were also a part of the Onam festivities. 

Aditi shared a video from the Onam festivities at the Aroras on her Instagram stories. The spread included traditional delicacies. The Sadya was served on a banana leaf. Malaika's parents were seen serving the meal to the guests. Mrs. Arora was dressed in a white saree with a golden and red border. She paired it with a sleeveless red blouse. 

Malaika is a self-proclaimed foodie while being a fitness freak. On Onam last year, the actress shared a picture of her Sadya which consisted of delicacies like inji puli, pachadi, sambar, thoran, olan and many more. It also included potato curry, channa sundal, crispy chips, papad and chilli.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 restrictions were eased, Malaika reunited with her parents and sister for Onam. Sharing a picture from the celebration at home, she wrote, "Our table is set... and finally after over 5 months we all together at my parents home n on this very auspicious day of Onam... thank u mom @joycearora for this lovely spread. Onam Sadya.." Her meal included Avial, Erissery, Pulissery, Kootu curry, Olan, Sambar, Velarikka Pachadi, Muttaikose thoran, Vazhakkai mezhukkupuratti, Matta choru, Nei, Sambaram, Inji puli, Naranga achar, Pappadam, Palada payasam and Ada pradhaman.

The actress recently made headlines for her alleged breakup with Arjun Kapoor. After she shared a couple of cryptic quotes, netizens speculated that the couple had broken up. However, on Sunday, Malaika and Arjun enjoyed a meal at Veronica's and dined together at a plush eatery later in the day. Quashing rumours, Malaika and Arjun assured their fans that they're still together. 

Amid breakup rumours, reports claimed that Arjun found love in Kusha Kapila. However, the social media influencer dismissed it as false and cleared the air.
