Before crowning Miss USA as Miss Universe 2022, Harnaaz took her last walk as the outgoing Miss Universe. She got teary eyed during the walk on the international stage. She also stumbled in between her walk but soon regained herself and carried on with grace while indicating that she is alright. As she walked, a voiceover played, "I was 17-years-old when I first took the stage and since then becoming Miss Universe was my goal. I've been given the megaphone on a worldwide stage to present the topic of menstrual equity before world leaders asking them to keep this conversation ongoing."
Sharing the video of the walk, the official handle of Miss Universe wrote, "Hold back tears as Harnaaz Kaur takes the stage one last time as Miss Universe!”
