While it is speculated that Shahid Kapoor's wedding with Mira Rajput has been fixed by his father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, it seems the Delhi girl has won over his mother, Neelima Azim too. The danseuse-cum-actress is elated at her son's choice and is looking forward to the big day, which is apparently June 10. (Read more)

Says Neelima, "I am extremely happy for Shahid. As a mother, I support and bless him. Shahid has been busy with his work and leading a bachelor's life. It is exciting to see him finally settle down. I wish him and Mira a wonderful life together."

Dismissing rumours that the match is an arranged one, Neelima insists that it was Shahid's decision to marry Mira. "He knows what he is doing and we are all very involved. I met Mira in Mumbai and again in Delhi. She is sweet and extremely affectionate. It was pleasant meeting her whole family," adds the actress.

Ask her if the marriage will be solemnised in Greece as per rumours and she states, "It is still being planned and too early to tell when and where the marriage will take place. Once things are finalised, we will make it known."
