Now, Kriti Sanon in an interview with Film Companion talked about how male-led films are positioned differently so that they make big money. She said, "It's a bit of a circle because the male-led films are budgeted and positioned in a very larger-than-life grand-scale kind of format and they end up earning that money and I feel like someone needs to really take the front and the risk on positioning a female-led film on that scale."
Further, while talking about the female-led film’s positioning she said, "limit it in terms of either we get scared of what it's gonna earn or not earn, and we sort of limit the positioning and aspirational value of it and maybe that's why it doesn't end up earning that kind of money."
After receiving the award from President Droupadi Murmu, Kriti took to Instagram and shared several pictures. Her parents were also present at the prestigious ceremony. Kriti uploaded pictures with her mom and dad. "The feeling is not easy to describe in words...Today will be one of the most memorable days of my life! Missed vou @nupursanon 6#NationalAward #BestActress #Mimi," she wrote.
