Janhvi Kapoor recently dropped a photo of her look from her upcoming film Devara, and it left everyone stunned. The actress is seen wearing a teal saree in the photo taken during an outdoor shoot. While the actress also revealed the name of her character from the film, fans commented that she looked like her mother, the late actress Sridevi, in the photo.
The actress has already proven herself as a versatile actress with her performances so far. While she has delivered some amazing performances in Bollywood, she is all set to make her debut in South cinema with the upcoming Pan-India film Devara opposite Jr. NTR.

Fans are extremely excited to watch her in the film, and the actress recently dropped her look from the film, which sparked a frenzy among her fans who are said she was looking like her mother. Having her feet in both the entertainment industries, Hindi and South, Janhvi is indeed taking the legacy of her mother ahead. The actress also exudes sheer commercial appeal on the screen and seeing her look from Devara, it is sure that she is going to ace this role too. The actress has also commenced the second schedule of Devara in Goa.
Helmed by Koratala Siva the film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Jr NTR, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. As per a source, "Janhvi will be starting the second shoot schedule for Devara with NTR JR on October 24. The actress shot the first schedule for only 3 days. Ahead of this, she will be busy shooting for the project in Goa from October and the shoot schedule will be approximately extended till January for 3 to 4 months."
'Devara' will be released in two parts. The first part of the film will be released on April 5, 2024. 'Devara' marks the first collaboration of Janhvi with the 'RRR' actor. The film's music is done by Anirudh Ravichander with R Rathnavelu being the cinematographer.
Meanwhile, Janhvi will next be seen in ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’. The movie is directed by Sharan Sharma and will feature Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, Rajesh Sharma and Kumud Mishra as lead characters.
