Shekhar Kapur gets doctor-turned-model 'friend' to post messages from his Twitter account

Shekhar Kapur is in London for his long-in-the-planning project Paani as well as attending script sessions for a film based on the life of British mountaineer George Mallory. Besides work, the filmmaker has been bonding with Niharica Raizada, a doctor-tuned-model, who won this year's Miss India UK pageant.



On a social networking site, he writes, "Old friend just dropped inu00a0-- Niharica Raizadau00a0-- brilliant doctor but just won Miss India UK ! So we are going to celebrate."

The Elizabeth director also had Niharica tweet from his phone and message his followers. Niharica has studied at the Imperial College in London and has been modelling in UK for a while.

When asked about Niharica, Shekhar's ex-wife Suchitra Krishnamoorthy says, "Mubarak ho, Shekhar. But I have no clue who she is. I am busy with my daughter's exams. But if he is talking about her on a networking site, he wants people to know."

Shekhar remained unavailable for comment despite repeated SMSes.
