Rumours have been flying thick and fast that Alia Bhatt needed medical attention while shooting for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Over the weekend, it is said that she felt uneasy on the set and was hospitalised for a day due to exhaustion. The actor was back on her feet the next day and reported for the shoot. Looks like Bhatt has been exerting herself too much of late.

This is not the first time Alia has suffered from exhaustion while working continuously. A few years ago, the actress once fainted on the sets of a dance reality show, while giving her performance on stage as a newbie. Not only this, Alia Bhatt, who is often said to be working until wee hours, has been in agony due to ill health.

Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress also has a series of the interesting line-up including SS Rajamouli's RRR, which is slated to release on January 8, 2021, and Karan Johar's Takht, which will arrive on December 24, 2021. This period drama also has Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, and Janhvi Kapoor.

Speaking about the film, RRR is SS Rajamouli's next magnum opus after the blockbuster Baahubali. The period drama also stars Ajay Devgn, Junior NTR, and Ram Charan. The release date of this opus has undergone a change twice. Earlier slated to release on July 30 this year, it was then pushed to January 8, 2021. But given the lockdown that happened due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a new release date is yet to be announced.
