After tying the knot in a traditional Christian ceremony on January 10 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, actor Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare hosted a star-studded wedding reception on Saturday evening at NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) in Mumbai. From legendary actor Dharmendra to former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, actor Salman Khan, who's who of showbiz marked their starry presence at the wedding reception of Aamir Khan's daughter Ira and son-in-law Nupur Shikhare on Saturday.
However, it was the Mumbai paparazzi who were eagerly waiting till the wee hours to click the stars who arrived at the party. The paps were seen interacting with the guests in a light-hearted manner. From asking Kapil Sharma to make them laugh to asking Dilip Joshi about Babita to teasing Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani about their upcoming rumoured wedding, the paps were at their entertaining best.

Kangana Ranaut was seen chanting Jai Shri Ram as she posed for the paps. She was greeted by the paparazzi with chants of Jai Shri Ram ahead of the upcoming Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya.

Jaya Bachchan who is known to yell at the paps quite often was seen sarcastically telling off the paps for teaching her about camera angles. Towards the end she also gave a sly smile to paps diffusing the tension.

As comedian Kapil Sharma arrived with his wife Ginni, the paps told him, "Arre hasao toh sir. Ek joke toh maro". Kapil was amused by the comments and ended up laughing.

Rakul and Jackky were teased by the paps about the media reports regarding their February wedding. It has been reported that the couple will be tying the knot in Goa next month. The happy couple only blushed when the paps teased them about their wedding.

Speaking of the hosts, Aamir Khan and his family members were all dressed to the nines. Ira's cousin and actor Imran Khan also marked his presence at the function. The whole Khan family posed on the red carpet. However, Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao was not present. The fam-jam pictures show Aamir posing with his son and upcoming actor Junaid Khan, his first wife Reena Dutta, nephew Imran Khan, sister Nikhat Khan, son Azad Rao Khan, and the family of Nupur.
While Aamir wore a black bandhgala, twinning with both Junaid and his son-in-law Nupur, Ira wore a red-and-golden lehenga. Imran, on the other hand, chose a black tuxedo for the occasion. Ira and Nupur recently tied the knot as per Christian rituals in Udaipur. Before it, Ira and Nupursolemnized their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on January 3. Reportedly, Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir Khan and Ira was living with her father. The duo had an engagement party in November last year.
