He met Salman Khan, who expressed a desire to work with him and got a call from the team of 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' the next day. That's what actor Gautam Gulati said when asked how he bagged the Prabhudheva-directorial, which released on Eid.

Gautam Gulati, who plays a baddie in the Salman Khan-starrer 'Radhe', revealed that he bagged the character 'Girgit' on the superstar's recommendation. "This would not have been possible if Salman sir was not there. We met randomly and he hugged me and he thought we should work together, he asked me if I would play a negative role. I could not believe it. I told him that all my favourite heroes are the negative ones and the very next day, his team called me and it was done," he says.

He adds that work on his character began soon after. "My clothes, look, training all started… the hairstyle was changed and the shoot commenced. I will never forget this. He has always been very helpful. It feels amazing when a top megastar is there to help me, and believes in me," Gautam says.
The actor adds that he also trained extensively for the action scenes. "The tattoo and haircut were also conceptualised and decided by Salman sir, and I am glad we followed it to the T. The action scenes did require a lot of training, sometimes from morning to night," he says.
