Priyanka Chopra left fans speculating after she dropped singer husband Nick Jonas’s last name from her Instagram profile. It made a section of netizens wonder if they are heading for a divorce. The couple celebrates their third wedding anniversary on December 1. PeeCee’s move took the Internet by storm on Monday night as they often share loved-up photographs. Earlier this month, PeeCee and Jonas hosted a Diwali bash at their Los Angeles home, which was attended by several Hollywood stars. While netizens played guessing games from saying it was just a “lovers’ tiff” and “the beginning of the end”, some wondered if “it was part of one of PeeCee’s brand endorsement deals”.

Bollywood’s go-to astrologer Balu Munnangi has landed on the set of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in New Delhi. Considering Munnagi’s name figured in the opening credits of KJo’s earlier production, Shershaah (he was thanked for guiding the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer), looks like the Hyderabad-based astro-consultant has a bigger role to play in the romantic comedy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. “Vibrant vibrations on the sets,” posted Munnangi while sharing pictures from the set. Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and several South film folk seek Munnagi’s advice on business, health and wealth matters. He is said to be guiding and titling Dharma’s upcoming slate of films to ensure everything is right and spells success at the box office.
Kamal Haasan positive, hospitalised
On Monday, Kamal Haasan was admitted to a Chennai hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19. The veteran actor-filmmaker was in the US for the launch of his clothing brand. On his return from Chicago, he developed a cough and decided to test himself for the virus. “People should realise that COVID-19 hasn’t gone away and must take utmost precaution,” he shared on social media.
Freida names son Rumi Ray
Freida Pinto and American photographer husband Cory Tran have become parents to a baby boy. The Slumdog Millionaire (2008) actor shared the first picture of the newborn with his face covered with a baby emoji. They have named their bundle of joy, Rumi Ray. Pinto did not reveal the date he was born. She called herself “a sleep-deprived mama” and appreciated that Tran has gone from being a “dad to a super dad”.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra posted a heartfelt message for Cookie (as she affectionately calls husband Raj Kundra) to mark their 12th wedding anniversary on Monday. The actor wrote, “We made and continue to fulfil a promise of sharing the good times and bearing the hard times, of trusting in love and God to show us the way… side-by-side, day-by-day. Here’s to many more rainbows, laughter, milestones and our prized possessions… our children.” She also expressed gratitude to well-wishers, “who have been with us through thick and thin”. The couple wed at entrepreneur buddy Kiran Bawa’s villa in Khandala on November 22, 2009.

On Monday, Ajay Devgn clocked three decades in the industry. Wife Kajol showered love on hubby dearest to mark the milestone. “Completing 30 years, and God knows how many countless hours before that with the same quiet steady dedication, and just letting work speak for him. Respect always. Keep on rocking.” His debut, Phool Aur Kaante, co-starring Madhoo, released on November 22, 1991.

The buzz about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding continues. On Monday, as soon as Kaushal shared a picture with a bag, fans were quick to point out that he is off for the preparations. Roohi co-stars Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor team up again for Mr and Mrs Mahi. Sharan Sharma, who helmed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020) starring Kapoor, will direct the film set against the backdrop of cricket. The project, backed by Dharma Productions, was announced on Monday. It is slated to hit screens on October 7, 2022. Rao’s character is called Mahendra. Hope MS Dhoni approves.
