Despite having launched Alia Bhatt into stardom, Karan Johar believes that he cannot take credit for her achievements. While hailing her as one of the best actors in the industry, the filmmaker in a recent interview said that he has given her the least challenging role of her career. Conceding that while he is overwhelmed by her success, he is also concerned about her. Quoting Shah Rukh Khan, KJo said, “Too much too soon, she will always have to be at the top of her game.” The filmmaker is teaming up with his protégée again in his upcoming directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani.

After Prabhas, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, it is now Ravi Teja’s turn to aim for a pan-India release with his new project. The makers of his Tiger Nageswara Rao dropped the film’s pre-look on the occasion of Ugadi. Reportedly based on the life of the notorious thief from Stuartpuram, in Andhra Pradesh, the film is being planned as Ravi’s most-expensive outing to date. That’s not all. Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur and model Gayatri Bhardwaj, who was last seen in Dhindora, have been cast opposite Ravi in the movie that is being made in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

It took time for Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora to come clean about their relationship. They made it official when they began posting pictures together and wrote comments on each other’s social media posts. In a recent interview, Arjun said that it is better to respect their relationship by stepping out, instead of letting people speculate. He believes that continuous speculation about one’s personal life can make a person’s feelings for their partner or the relationship seem frivolous.

When Ashi Singh learned that her character has been written out to play a policewoman in the television show, Meet, her first thought of inspiration was former supercop, Kiran Bedi. Idolising the real hero all her life, she says, “In an attempt to get into the skin of my new avatar, I read a lot about her, observed her nuances, and how she reacted in any given situation. I hope I do justice to my part and people love me in the avatar of a police officer.”
