The unveiling of a book based on Javed Akhtar’s life and works was rightly a star-studded affair, with artistes like Tabu, Farah Khan, Subhash Ghai, Gulzar, Urmila Matondkar, and Ashutosh Gowarikar in attendance. Arvind Mandloi’s book, Jadunama — stated to include special anecdotes relating to the veteran lyricist’s life — was released on January 9 in the presence of Javed’s wife, actor Shabana Azmi, and children Zoya and Farhan Akhtar. Farhan’s wife, actor Shibani Dandekar also attended the event. Javed addressed a variety of subjects relating to the ongoing developments in the film industry, including the initiatives taken by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and on censorship.

Bigg Boss 16 Abdu Rozik, who emerged to be one of the most admired contestants among fans of the show, will reportedly make an exit tomorrow. According to unit sources, Haasan has been suffering from fatigue and exertion. While fans of the actor were worried about her health after she shared the news on social media, she assured them that with adequate rest and medication, she would recover.

As Tuesday marked three years since its release, the actor-filmmaker shared, “Playing the role of Tanhaji was a dream and an honour, that resulted in the highest-grosser of 2020 and also won us two National Awards. Happy and humbled.” His production house too shared a video featuring moments from the film on Instagram, and wrote: “A film that united the entire nation.” The movie also starred Kajol and Saif Ali Khan.
