Mega-star Amitabh Bachchan has bought a piece of land of around 10,000 square feet in Ayodhya, days before the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22. Marked at Rs 14.50 crore, the property is 15 minutes away from the temple. “The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries. Neha Dhupia is returning with the sixth season of her podcast, No Filter Neha, with this edition expected to have eight episodes. Yesterday, Prabhas announced his next film The Raja Saab, on the festive occasion of Pongal. The movie is touted as a “spellbinding romantic horror entertainer”, which will be directed by Maruthi. “The Raja Saab stands as one of my most ambitious projects to date. Collaborating with Prabhas is an honour for me as a filmmaker. His electrifying screen presence infused with our horror narrative is sure to leave audiences amazed,” the director said in a statement.

Actor Nikita Dutta, who will be seen in the Marathi film, Gharat Ganpati, calls the journey of working on it “enriching”. “Learning the language for this role not only added depth to my character but also opened my heart to a new culture. Troublemaker
The woes for Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal are far from over. The Netflix release of the film, it seems, may be delayed or canned. We hear that Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios has moved the Delhi High Court seeking a stay on the film’s OTT release later this month due to a breach of contract between his company and T-Series. The case, we’re told, relates to a disagreement in the distribution of the share of profits and the title credits. The first hearing took place yester-day.
Ram’s dosa, anyone?
RRR star Ram Charan celebrated Makar Sankranti with his family, and was spotted flipping dosas at the celebration. The actor’s wife, Upasana Konidela, took to her social media to share heartfelt moments from the family’s bash, which was held in Bengaluru. On the work front, Charan will be seen in RC 16, which has AR Rahman on board as composer.

Calling Sandeep Reddy Vanga a filmmaker “who thinks out of the box”, actor Vivek Oberoi says he hopes to work with the Animal director. Vivek’s father, veteran actor Suresh Oberoi starred in Vanga’s latest film, and in 2019’s Kabir Singh, which was the Hindi remake of the director’s Telugu debut, Arjun Reddy. Vivek also said Vanga reminds him of director Ram Gopal Varma, who introduced him to Bollywood with the 2002 gangster drama, Company.
