Actor Imran Khan's comeback to the big screen is eagerly awaited by people who have log cherished his films like 'Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na', 'I Hate Luv Storys', 'Delhi Belly' among others. After the release of his debut film 'Jaane Tu...ya Jaane Na' as Jai, he was considered to be the next big thing in Bollywood alongside his contemporary Ranbir Kapoor. However, come 2016, he decided to quit the scene after his film 'Katti Batti' tanked at the box office.

In 2023, Imran Khan surprised all when a netizen named Aditi asked him to come back to the movies. Reacting to the comment, Imran said "Chalo Aditi, let’s leave this one to the internet… 1M likes, and I’ll make it happen.” Netizens united and made it happen. Imran stuck to his promise and announced that he will return to the movies. While he is yet to sign a film, Imran Khan has been more vocal on social media reflecting on his movies ever since the comeback decision. And now he has started the year with a thoughtful interview with Vogue India.

It's been six years since he has quite movies. A lot has changed in the movie business since and so has his life.  From becoming the king of sustainable fashion to selling his luxury car to cutting his hair, here are the changes he brought to his personal life after dissociating himself from Bollywood:

Cost cutting:

Cuts his hair since 2016. Imran Khan sold his cherry-red Ferrari and bought a Volkswagen.

Sustainable Fashion:

He stills rocks the same pair of Ray-Bans from a decade ago. He also repeats his Tom Ford suit that he wore for interviews a decade ago. He also wore the suit twice earlier this year at cousin Ira Khan's wedding.

House
Imran moved from his plush Pali Hill bungalow to an apartment in Bandra. He keeps only three plates, three forks, two coffee mugs and one frying pan in his kitchen.

Communication:

Imran revealed that there was a time he couldn't stand unopened emails and message notifications. Now his phone is flooded with unread and unanswered messages and unreturned phone calls.

However, actor Imran Khan has no regrets about being away from the scene for so long. “I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside. Luckily, I was working in an industry that had rewarded me financially, so by the time I was 30, I didn’t have to worry about money," he told Vogue India.

Imran also gave a lot of thought to his decision. “At that point, it wasn’t my career because I wasn’t excited by it enough to want to work hard for it. I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.’ I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter.”
