“There are two love songs, one is placed when [the characters] remember the mother, who is no more, and another is the father’s love song. There is also a Mahakal ki aarti, which is about life and death,” says the lyricist, adding that he jetted off to Goa to create the soundtrack in the company of musician Amit Trivedi. “Working with Amit is always special because the process is an organic one. Amit creates beautiful tunes and simplifies the process. He is rooted, and that reflects in his music.”
