Actor Arjun Kapoor says he does not believe his decision to play a homemaker in R Balki's 'Ki & Ka' is an attempt to change his image.

Known for his romantic and action roles in films like 'Ishaqzaade' and '2 States', the 30-year-old actor will play a not-so-ambitious house husband to Kareena Kapoor Khan in 'Ki & Ka'.

When asked if the role can be termed as an experiment, Arjun said, "Many people are calling it a gutsy move. I don't think it is only that. When a director sees that capability in you... I never saw myself like that.
"We were always told that you have to look macho, do action but I have a soft side to me which Balki sir saw. I am somebody, who was close to his mom, so this also appealed to me. I never saw it as an image breaking move."
The actor was speaking at the Zee Cine Awards, where he also performed on a track from the film titled 'High Heels'. Arjun wore red heels for his performance. 'Ki & Ka' will arrive in theatres on April 1.
