Dia Mirza reiterated the need to protect the environment after US-based scientist Dr Shanna Swan in her new book, Count Down, points out that ‘penises are shrinking, and sperm counts decreasing due to pollution.' “Now maybe the world will take climate crisis and air pollution seriously?” Mirza posted. Swan found that some chemicals are causing babies to be born with malformed genitals.

On the personal front, Dia is currently holidaying in the Maldives with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi and his daughter Samaira. Dia got married to Vaibhav last month. And this is their first vacation post-wedding in February.
She has posted a string of images on Instagram from the trip. One picture, where Dia poses with her stepdaughter, has particularly captured social media fancy. In the images, Dia is in the perfect holiday mood, dressed in light summerwear, big rounded shades and a hat, as she poses against the backdrop of the sea, the beach, blue sky and island flora. The photographs have been clicked by Vaibhav.

This is Dia's second marriage. The actress was previously married to Sahil Sangha from 2014 to 2019. The couple had announced their separation with a statement issued in August 2019.
