Tiger Shroff has joined the league of actors who have been putting their might behind environmental causes by becoming the face of the global campaign for urban forests across India, along with the Bhamla Foundation. “We plan to shoot a music video with Tiger for the campaign. The song will be sung by him, and he will also dance to it. Apart from being a role model for the youth, Tiger is a passionate environmentalist. He will attend our major forest plantation campaigns and also participate in our digital campaign, where he will interact with fans. He is participating pro bono, and has offered to work as an environmental activist from the grass root level. But, we wanted him as the face of the movement.”

Launched by Shroff and global environmentalist Erik Solheim, the campaign will aim to promote the need to control rising temperatures and prevent global warming. The actor tells mid-day, “I am glad to be part of such an important cause. Conserving urban forests and slowing down climate change is the need of the hour, if we want to build a sustainable future. Small changes can go a long way in protecting the environment. I hope to find as much support as I can, especially from the youth.”
