On Friday, Fatima Sana Shaikh was her usual cheery self for the virtual promotions of her upcoming Netflix anthology, Ajeeb Daastaans. The actor, who is in quarantine after contracting the virus, has lost her “sense of taste and smell” and experiencing “horrible body ache.” The Ludo (2020) actor further posted, “COVID sucks.”

On March 29, Fatima had informed that she has home-quarantined and urged people to follow protocol. "I have tested positive for Covid-19 and currently following all the precautions and protocols and have been home quarantining myself. Thank you for your wishes and concern. Stay safe, guys," she wrote on Instagram Stories.

A day later, Anil Kapoor had sent across some homecooked food for the actress while she was under quarantine. The actress was naturally thrilled. Fatima thanked Anil on Instagram stories as she uploaded a picture of the delectable spread. Tagging Kapoor, she wrote: "@anilskapoor You are the best!!! Thank you for sending this amazing ghar ka khaana". Under the photo of all the food boxes from Kapoor, she wrote: "Yuummmmm".

Recently, Vikrant Messy, Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Rohit Saraf were among those who had tested positive for COVID-19. Earlier, actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and some others were infected with the virus. In March 2020, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, who rose to fame with her song 'Baby Doll', became the first Bollywood celebrity to get infected with COVID-19.
