The makers of the upcoming Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Chanda Mama Door Ke have been apparently claiming that it is the first Indian film to be shot at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the US. Sushant has been training at NASA's Space & Rocket Centre at Alabama.

But Ashutosh Gowariker's Swades (2004) starring Shah Rukh Khan was shot inside the NASA research centre. SRK's character was shown working on a rainfall monitoring satellite known as the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM), which is lifted into orbit aboard a space shuttle.

Gowariker had shot at Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. Thirteen years later, Bollywood makes another attempt in space.
