These are some of my top trends for men in 2022-
- To start with I think there will be a lot of chains and pendants. The chains can be chunky or a cool pendant with a slim chain.
- A lot of velvet and velour. Velour is a fine velvet fabric that is stretchable and fits well, it has a good flow. I’ve used a lot of velvet blazers and jackets, it’s a very understated shine to men’s wardrobe.

- There will continue to be a lot of athleisure but there will be a lot of tailored pieces with athleisure. We are back to working from home but not that lazy so there will still be some tailored pieces. Not too formal, not too casual-somewhere in between. The double breasted, oversized blazers from the 80s’ are still doing the rounds.
- Overpowering shoulders are still doing the rounds, so are combat boots. Combat boots are normally used for trekking but in 2022 they will be part of casual wear too.

- Varsity jacket’s are really big for men in 2022, that’s a predominant trend. I’m hoping that spring 2022 is the last of tie and dye. There’s still a lot of bomber jackets as well.
- For summer, there are going to be a lot of vests and bowling shirts. The flowy, breezy shirts will work well in India because of our climate.
