Actor Arjun Kapoor on Friday heaped praises on Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's recently released aerial action thriller film 'Fighter'.

Taking to Instagram stories, Arjun shared a poster of 'Fighter' that he captioned, "Loved the film. Loved the spectacle. Loved everything about it. Top notch filmmaking with great performances from everyone & heart tugging emotions...PS: My hrithik fan boy phase is clearly here to stay forever 24 years and counting!! (sic.)"

Fighter movie Box Office Collection Day 2
After a decent start with a collection of Rs 24 crore on the first day, the high-budget movie 'Fighter,' featuring Hrithik Roshan, gained significant momentum on the second day. Fueled by positive reviews of the film's aerial action scenes, 'Fighter' is estimated to have surged by over 70%, raking in Rs 39 crore on its second day of release, coinciding with the Republic Day 2024 holiday. This brings the film's two-day domestic earnings to Rs 61 crore, and it is expected to achieve a domestic opening weekend of Rs 120 crore to Rs 150 crore.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Fighter' is a patriotic action film depicting the lives of a group of Air Force fighter pilots during a conflict. Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor play supporting roles, along with Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. According to Sacnilk, the standard 2D version of 'Fighter' recorded a 41% occupancy, while the 3D version had a 42% occupancy. Evening shows attracted the most audience for both versions of the film. Mumbai and the Delhi NCR region reported approximately 50% occupancy, while Chennai reported over 80% occupancy, albeit from a limited number of shows.

The film features Hrithik Roshan as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky fighting for the country. Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover will also be seen in the film. Apart from the adrenaline-pumping trailer, the makers have dropped a few songs from the film's album. While 'Sher Khul Gaye' quickly became the party anthem, 'Ishq Jaisa Kuch' made us drool over Hrithik and Deepika's chemistry. The recently released song from the film, 'Heer Aasmani,' made us all dance. To note, there have been reports that the CBFC has suggested 4 cuts in the film and has granted it a U/A certificate.
