Anushka captioned the picture, "New beginnings . New start . New journey .. First day of shoot for #Sultan . Here we go ! (sic)"
Later, director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to announce the wrap of the film's first day of shoot with Anushka. He tweeted:
