Aaliyah Kashyap, Anurag Kashyap's daughter, is about to start a new adventure with her beau, Shane Gregoire, and she couldn't be happier. The soon-to-be bride hosted an engagement party in a dreamy setting on Thursday.

Aaliyah and Shane’s engagement party took place in Mumbai. The bride-to-be wore a beautiful white lehenga with a heavy border and detailed embroidery. Shane complemented his beautiful partner in a matching outfit. He wore a kurta pyjama set with a sea green-coloured embroidered jacket.

Anurag Kashyap was seen wearing an all-black outfit at his daughter’s engagement party. The ace filmmaker also posed for the paparazzi with her daughter.

The celebration was attended by the who's who of the industry. The ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ actress and Anurag's ex-wife, Kalki Koechlin, attended the ceremony with her boyfriend and daughter. Kalki looked stunning in a green-coloured printed saree, while her daughter looked like a princess in a pink lehenga set.

Ace director Imtiaz Ali, actress Parul Gulati, and Pavail Gulati were also seen attending the function.

After dating for quite some time, Shane proposed to Aaliyah in Bali, Indonesia. Furthermore, the soon-to-be bride had already revealed that she would have a traditional engagement ceremony in Mumbai.

Aaliyah announced her engagement a few months ago. Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture and wrote, "soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCE! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing i’ve ever done & i can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever & always Fiance (still can’t believe i get to call you that AAHHHH).(sic)"

A while ago, Anurag Kashyap's daughter conducted an 'Ask Me Anything' session on her Instagram account on July 11, 2023. During the session, Aaliyah addressed fan questions about her career, life, family, and, of course, her wedding. During the event, one of her followers asked about her engagement date. She didn't waste any time in making the big announcement and wrote in her story, "AUGUST 3RD!!! It's coming so close; I'm so excited."
