Actor Sara Ali Khan recently visited the Grineshwar Maha Jyotirlingam in Maharashtra near Aurangabad. She took to her Instagram handle to share several pictures from the trip

Sara Ali Khan recently went on a spiritual trip. The actress visited the sacred boundaries of the Grineshwar Maha Jyotirlinga in Verul, Maharashtra. The actress took to social media to share some pictures from her holy darshan along with her friend. The temple which holds a revered position among the 12 Jyotirlingas temples dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated in the village of Verul, 20 kms away from the city of Aurangabad. 


Actor Sara Ali Khan shared multiple pictures from her visit to the holy place. She is seen dressed in a salwar suit with a dupatta over her head. She is accompanied by her friend. In the picture, Sara is seen praying to the shivling and bowing her head there. She is also seen whispering into the ear of Nandi the bull. In the last picture, Sara is seen sitting by the shivling and soaking in the peace the place has to offer. The clock on the wall flashes the time as 4:47 am. 


Sharing the pictures, Sara Ali Khan wrote, "Jai Bholenath". The actress is quite spiritual and often shares pictures from her religious trips.

Meanwhile, actor Sara Ali Khan had recently appeared on Amitabh Bachchan-hosted game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15'. The actress was accompanied by her grandmother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. On the show, Bachchan asked Tagore about her views of Sara's debut film 'Kedarnath'. Replying to her ‘Chupke Chupke’ co-star, Sharmila said, “When Sara was a little girl…she used to stand in front of the mirror all the time, doing her own thing...She was always like that and she has always had the spark in her.”

“As a newcomer in 'Kedarnath', she was very good,” added the senior actress.

Sara marked her acting debut with the 2018 romantic disaster movie ‘Kedarnath’, starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead. She played the character of Mandakini Tripathi, while Sushant was seen as her love interest Mansoor Khan. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara next has 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', 'Metro... In Dino', Jagan Shakti's untitled project, and 'Murder Mubarak’.
