With five big films in his bag, Abhishek Banerjee is on roll! The actor is now all set to entertain his ardent fans with his upcoming project, an anthology by Dharma productions titled Ajeeb Daastaans. While Abhishek will be seen headlining the film with the gorgeous actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, this would be Banerjee's first collaboration with the 'Good News' director Raj Mehta.

Talking about his experience on working with Raj, Abhishek shared, "Raj Mehta is truly one of the best directors I have worked with! The amazing thing which I always recall with Raj is about the time when Good news had not released and I remember him being under pressure to finish the post-production of the film but he made the process such an easy ride. It was really commendable. Additionally, I couldn’t believe that someone with his sense of humour is making this dark story! I really enjoyed the shoot which is usually a rarity when you are shooting for a dark subject. And that was possible for Raj and the entire crew."

For the time ever, viewers will see Abhishek Banerjee stepping into the shoes of a Dhobi who resides in a posh colony of Uttar Pradesh and the story unfolds on how his life completely turns upside down when an unfortunate incident happens with his closed ones. Well, we can't wait to see Abhishek back on screen.

Apart from Ajeeb Daastaans, on the work front, Banerjee will be seen in Akarsh Khurana's Rashmi Rocket, Amar Kaushik's Bhediya, Umesh Shukla's Aankh Micholi and Satram Ramani's Helmet.
