Stress and worry have become second nature to man. The song is a message for those who have forgotten to live for the moment. It's important to enjoy the present rather than stress about the troubles that may come in the future," says Salim Merchant, one-half of Bollywood composer duo Salim-Sulaiman, about Jeene Ka Shauq, their latest track with rock vocalist Siddharth Basrur and desi hip hop crew Mumbai's Finest. "I recorded a high energy track with the brothers for Royal Challengers, Bangalore (an IPL franchise).

Salim called and asked if I'd like to record another track, and that turned out to be Jeene Ka Shauq," says metal band Goddess Gagged frontman Siddharth who often flirts with filmi playback.

"We thought Salim and Sulaiman would have a set way of working, but they were really open-minded. We went in with ready lyrics for the YOLO (you only live once) theme. When they heard me speaking in street slang, they were excited. We rewrote the whole rap portion on the spot for a grittier, more raw vibe," says Ace from Mumbai's Finest who also featured in the title track of Gunday.

In the music video, Ace is fighting for the mic in a boxing ring with Ninja and Diefferent, mirroring the rap battles that hip-hop artistes thrive on. The rest of the video for the YouTube Jammin' single with Qyuki is shot in the adventure hub of Dubai. The musicians are quad-biking in the desert, sky diving over artificial archipelago Palm Jumeirah and jet boating in front of Burj Al Arab.
