Sidharth Malhotra was apparently supposed to be part of the Holi celebrations at a studio on Thursday but the actor did not turn up. Reason? He apparently wasn't feeling well.

Says a source, "The event was organised at Kamalistan studio, where some well-known singers were performing for Holi. Sidharth was the chief guest and the invitation cards were also sold out with his name on it. However, much to the audience's disappointment they did not get a chance to meet the star as promised by the orgainsers. Some of them even chose to leave the venue as soon as they got to know that he will not be coming for the celebrations."

It is said that the actor informed the organisers about his unavailability at the last minute. Another source says, "The event had started and the team was waiting for Sidharth to arrive, but he told them that he was feeling unwell and won't be able to make it. Since this information came in very late they could not make any other arrangements and had to carry on with the event without him."

However, the very next day the actor was spotted at a press meet for the success of his recently released film Kapoor and Sons.

Sidharth's spokesperson denied the buzz.
