Farah Khan is going global. After choreographing Chinese film, Andre Morgan's Perhaps Love, she will now direct a song in an Italian film Oggi Spossi (Just Married) directed by Luca Luciano.

She says, "The song is a big dance number to be shot in Rome in June. I got a call from author Clair Weiss who has written many books on Bollywood if I could do the song for them.

It's a fusion of Bollywood dancing and an Italian dance form called Tarantara. It will be a lavish, expensive number."

Tarantara will be a new form of dance for her. How is she planning to learn it? "I'm going to get DVDs of the dance form and I still have a couple of months to learn it. That's what is exciting... that I'll be doing something different from the usual Bollywood numbers."

Adds Farah, "It is definitely challenging and I like doing cross-cultural kind of movies. Just Married is a cross cultural romcom of an Indian and Italian family and the rollercoaster ride that ensues when they get married to each other. It is my kind of cinema.

In fact, I'll also be helping them out with the music of the song as it is a mix of Hindi and Italian. So they wanted someone from Bollywood for the sound and instrumental version of Indian music."

Farah will be shooting the song in four days. She won't be taking her babies with her. "Yes, I will miss them a lot but there is no point in taking them for just four days.

I'm not even taking my own dance troupe, except for my assistant. I'll be flying in dancers from London as it's closer to Italy and cheaper to do so."
