While promoting his upcoming film Hindi Medium on The Kapil Sharma Show, Irrfan Khan revealed that he had attended several workshops for a film with Mira Nair.

But later she scrapped his role. When a disappointed Irrfan told his mother about it, she insisted on meeting Mira. She wanted to ask her why she had done injustice to her son. No such meeting happened, but Irrfan went on to do many more Hollywood flicks.
