Wedding bells are ringing loud and clear in B-town as Imran Khan and Avantika Malik get all set to tie the knot at the latter's sprawling Karjat farmhouse over the weekend.
However, the post-wedding period can be quite nerve-wracking for a couple, warns Eesha Koppikar who got hitched a little more than a year ago. She shares with CS all the issues that made her jittery:
In-law and behold
You can get extremely emotional before your marriage. For a girl, it's the time she moves out of her parents' home and enters a new home.
You are pampered by your folks and don't know what to expect at your in-laws' place. So, it can be quite scary (laughs).
To wed or not to wed?
Throughout your single life, people give you a zillion reasons why you should stay single, and examples of how life's not the same post-marriage (laughs).
And the thought of committing to a person for an entire lifetime is very daunting. So, you often have doubts pre-wedding, which can be scary.u00a0
Planning it out
Well, everyone wants a perfect wedding. I remember Timmy and I started working out the details six months in advance.
I even made sure what kind of flowers I wanted at my mehendi, reception and hen party. Working out the ideal card, menu, decoration, outfits, etc is a hell of a task.u00a0
You are invited
You have to make sure that guests are well entertained. As a result, you cannot enjoy your own wedding. We had over 500 people at both the receptions. And when you're in Bollywood, it's a tricky business of whom to invite. You can't afford to forget people.u00a0
