Now that he's made his mark as an actor, you would think that the stand-up comedian in him might have lost his identity. But funnyman Vir Das is quite happy being a split personality.
And he plans to re-focus on his shows once again. He tells CS, "Being an English stand-up comic in a Hindi country is not easy.
The audience might be fine with the idea of watching an average singer, but they won't be fine watching an okay stand-up.
That's because artists like Bill Cosby, Jerry Seinfeld and Russel Peters have set a very high standard for stand-ups like me. I enjoy writing intelligent shows and that's exactly what I do when I have some free-time on the sets of my films."
