Post London Dreams, Vipul Shah immediately begins his next, Action Replay with his favourite actoru00a0Akshay Kumar. Buzz is that Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya Rai may also be part of the cast. There is also speculation that the film may be titled Fast Forward.

It is learnt that auditions for an actor to play the character of Akshay's son has begun.

Says a source, "There are several youngsters being auditioned. They have been clearly told that it is for Vipul Shah's film titled Action Replay, a comedy."

Buzz about Vipul's next has been doing the rounds for a while though the producer-director has been secretive about it. Sources add that it's inspired by a play of the same title that Vipul staged over 15 years ago.

It is also learnt the project will be co-produced by Akki's Hari Om Productions. Shoot-ing begins at ND Studios at Karjat in mid-2009.

Vipul however maintains, "This is the 100th time I am saying it. I'm not making any project like this."

But the source adds that as usual, the filmmaker is extremely guarded about his films and scripts before it goes on the floors. Says the source, "The script has been long ready. Obviously for the screenplay there will be a lot of changes from what was done on stage. Post Chandni Chowk To China's disaster, Vipul is determined to make Akki rock again."
